Want to make your Facebook posts look as snazzy as ours? While they might not have a qualified designer behind them, you can still create some pretty stand-out pieces of design with these 3 apps.

Unless you have a talented design team working behind the scenes, like I do, being able to create graphics and documents that look better than something you did on paint back in 1996 can be a daunting process.

However, being able to provide your content with a relevant colour image increases the chances of your content being read by a whopping 85%. So I’ve put together my top 3 picks for creating your very own social media designs.

  1. Canva – A little gem that has built in templates, graphics, fonts and icons for you to use. You can also upload your own images or graphics to really personalise your design. You will need an account to be able to use it, but it’s free to sign up.Canva-Editor

  1. Over – This one is fantastic if you have a photo or image that you want to add text over (I’m guessing that’s where the name comes from). There are a number of free fonts and icons available and you can buy packages for themed versions as well.over

  2. Studio – With hundreds of icons and graphics to choose from, there is nothing you can’t do with this design app. You can download packages with almost any themed overlays. It is free to download and you don’t need an account to use it, but if you do sign up (it’s free), there are hundreds more icons and overlays for you to use.

Before signing off, I need to leave you with a disclaimer. While your designs might in fact improve significantly using any of the above apps, if you do still want high quality, consistent designs with that expert touch then our team of über talented designers right here in the o2 office would love to help you out.

Happy creating!
